little adventures

Bite-sized adventures that let kids shine

Little Adventures in Destin-Fort Walton Beach offers free, 60-minute adventure classes designed to help kids ages 3–17 try something new on the water. These bite-sized experiences introduce sailing, scuba, fishing, and other coastal skills in a way that feels approachable and empowering.

The existing website functioned primarily as a registration tool. The opportunity was to transform it into something more meaningful: a mobile-first platform that inspires families to take spontaneous action while on vacation.

The Opportunity

The original website functioned primarily as a class registration tool. We needed to redesign to clarify the program’s value, improve the user experience, appeal to teens (not just younger children), and elevate credibility by highlighting program scale and tourism backing. At the same time, the site needed to evolve from static listings into a dynamic, mobile-friendly companion that encourages on-the-spot participation.

why it matters

AdventuredFWB.com now functions as a discovery platform, not just a registration site.

By aligning UX and messaging with Little Adventures’ core values—empowerment, nature, and family-centered growth—the site invites families to do more than relax. It encourages them to try something new—and leave more confident than they arrived.
