Bite-sized adventures that let kids shine

Little Adventures in Destin-Fort Walton Beach offers free, 60-minute adventure classes designed to help kids ages 3–17 try something new on the water. These bite-sized experiences introduce sailing, scuba, fishing, and other coastal skills in a way that feels approachable and empowering.

When we first connected, the website functioned mainly as a registration tool. It worked — but it didn’t yet reflect the energy, accessibility, and impact of the program itself. We saw an opportunity to create something that felt as adventurous and welcoming as the experience on the water.

The Opportunity

We reimagined the structure from the ground up — simplifying the navigation, clarifying the messaging, and designing a mobile-first experience for parents booking from their phones. The tone became more confident and more human. The visuals leaned into movement and joy. Every decision was rooted in one question: how do we make it easy for a parent to say yes?

At the same time, the site needed to evolve from static listings into a dynamic, mobile-friendly companion that encourages on-the-spot participation.

why it matters

AdventuredFWB.com now functions as a discovery platform, not just a registration site.

By aligning UX and messaging with Little Adventures’ core values—empowerment, nature, and family-centered growth—the site invites families to do more than relax. It encourages them to try something new—and leave more confident than they arrived.
